CoStrategix Was Proud to Sponsor the INTERalliance TechOlympics 2023

CoStrategix was proud to be a Torch sponsor of the TechOlympics 2023:Electrify Conference, organized by the INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati.
TechOlympics is the largest student-run tech event in the country. The sold-out event at Great American Ballpark attracted some 300 students who participated in presentations and workshops from 35 area companies. The students also had the opportunity to compete against other schools in challenges ranging from programming to design to networking. Students received hands-on assistance with creating a professional resume and learning how to conduct themselves during a formal job interview. The event took place on Saturday and Sunday, February 18 and 19.
CoStrategix led a hands-on workshop on Storytelling with Data. In addition to exploring career paths for working with data, students got the opportunity to jump headfirst into data – exploring sales of popular video games and movies. They had to decipher what stories the data was trying to tell using graphs/images in PowerBI as a storytelling tool: Which video games were popular in the 1980’s vs. 2000’s and why? What genre of movie had the highest grossing revenues at the box office?
INTERalliance aims to dramatically grow and diversify the IT talent pipeline by designing and delivering innovative technology programs, in partnership with businesses, high schools, and universities.
